The Wahoo BBC of Royal Oak traveled 40 miles by wagon this past Sunday to participate in a gatling gun match against the hosting Richmond Bees BBC and the visiting Lapeer Tigers BBC. The weather was humid and sunny but the ballists and fans alike withstood the heat for what turned out to be a finely contested match.
The Bees and The Wahoos lent some hands to the shorthanded Lapeer Tigers when they were the in field to fill out their 9. Scoring came in spurts with the Wahoos leaving runners on base far too often. However, the Wahoos were able to stymie the Richmond Bees during their furious late inning comeback to take home the victory.
Final Score: Wahoos 12 - Richmond 11 - Lapeer 5
